Dr. Katie Vo grew up in Minnesota, and attended the University of Minnesota for her bachelor’s degree (BS) in child psychology. She also completed her dental and orthodontic education at the University of Minnesota, and was honored with the Pierre Fauchard Certificate of Merit for outstanding and dedicated service to the dental profession.
After graduation, Dr. Vo and her family moved to San Antonio for the warmer weather, and once there, Dr. Vo attended West Texas A&M University to earn her master’s degree in business administration (MBA). She has over eight years of experience in the exclusive practice of orthodontics, and is dedicated to staying up to date on the latest research and techniques in orthodontic care. When not in the office, Dr. Vo enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and several family pets. She loves running, reading, theater, traveling, and movies. She is passionate about creating healthy, beautiful smiles, and feels blessed to have the opportunity to serve her patient’s and community’s orthodontic needs.
Dr. Alghadban, known by Dr. AL, has been practicing dentistry since 2001. He graduated as a general dentist from his home town, Damascus University School of Dentistry in 2001
Dr. Alghadban practiced dentistry since then until he decided to fulfill a postdoctoral education in periodontics after a long exposure to most of the different specialties in dentistry. Dr. AL was accepted at Louisiana State University, School of Dentistry in the periodontistry postdoctoral program and he was able to achieve his specialty after an intense training program for three years a program with a heavy emphasis on the clinical treatment of patients and clinical research activities
Dr. Alghadban practices all of the contemporary nonsurgical and surgical modalities, including regeneration, dental implants, laser surgery and esthetic plastic periodontal surgery and he is licensed to perform IV sedation to his patients with special needs and dental anxiety so patients can be completely relieved from their worries and get the best relaxing treatment experience.
Dr. Alghadban is married to Nour and blessed to have a beautiful girl named Talia. Talia is the best thing that has ever happened to him. Dr. Alghadban likes basketball, photography and going out biking with his wife in the weekends.
Dr. Sarah Percy Tovar grew up in San Antonio and graduated from John Marshall High School. She then graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Biomedical Science and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.
While in dental school, Dr. Tovar was awarded membership to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an honorary scholastic society. She continued her education by completing a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Tovar is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio District Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. She also is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and the International College of Dentists.
When not in the office, she enjoys watching Aggie football and the Spurs with her husband, James, who is a dentist in Helotes.
